This year, the epidemic Covid-19 strikes human
beings badly and we are still fighting against it. The demand for medical
equipment is soaring and this leads to challenges of public health facilities. Combined
with years of experience in embedded software and hardware development, MYIR
has introduced STM32MP1 based electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring solution to
help the construction of global medical facilities.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the number 1 cause of death globally:
more people die annually from CVDs than from any other cause. ECG (electrocardiograph)
is the basic basis for the examination of such diseases, it
is used for recording physiological electrical signals produced when the heart
is active.
A complete ECG monitoring solution comprises of signal acquisition and
processing, data transmission and analysis, image display, etc. The images
displayed determine the doctor's diagnosis of the disease. The solution which
MYIR has provided comprises of RGB / HDMI display + GigE + WiFi/BT from the MYD-YA157C development board which is based on ST’s first MPU STM32MP1 series processor, the
software interface is made from MYIR's Yocto 2.6 based MEasy HMI 2.0 system. Users can develop their own
applications based on this platform rapidly.
The MEasy HMI 2.0 is an HMI structure based on QT5
developed by MYIR. Its programming combines QML and C++. QML is used for
building UI efficiently while C++ is used for realizing logic and complex
algorithms. The structure can be divided into 3 layers: Hardware, kernel,
application.

The entire UI can be divided into five categories according to the type
of application: Health Care, Smart Home Appliances, Public Services, Multimedia
and System. There are two options for main page display, one is rotation display
based on PathView and the other is gridview based on SwipeView. Area 1 of
rotation display as below picture is for language selection, area 2 is for appliance
selection, area 3 is the button for switching between rotation display and
gridview, and area 4 is for contact interface.

The principle of electrocardiograph: An electrocardiograph records
electrocardiosignals automatically and converts them into digital signals, then
transmits the signals to the control and processing unit to process and
analyze, in the end the ECG is displayed on screen in real time. The ECG can
also be transmitted wired or wireless to doctor’s office.
The ECG appliance of MYIR’s MEasy HMI 2.0 can display ECG waveform and
parameters such as ECG, NIBP, SPO2, RESP, TEMP, etc. The parameters are
refreshed every second.
