Shenzhen, China, December 17, 2024 – Renesas Electronics' 2024 Embedded MCU/MPU Industrial Technology Seminar, held in Shenzhen on November 30th and in Shanghai on December 6th, concluded successfully. As a Renesas’ IDH ecosystem partner, MYIR delivered a presentation titled "Embedded Processor Modules Accelerate Industrial Product Development," and showcased MYIR’s System-On-Modules, development boards and technical solutions based on RZ/G2L, RZ/G2UL, and RZ/T2H. The event was well-attended with a lively atmosphere, attracting numerous embedded engineers from the industry to discuss and exchange ideas, providing valuable resources for embedded engineers to gain inspiration and practical solutions for product design.
At the seminar, Jim Zhang, Product Manager at MYIR, provided an overview stating that MYIR, as a professional provider of embedded SOMs and solutions, has sustained a cooperative relationship with Renesas. Together, they have collaborated on System on Modules (SOMs), development boards, and single-board Remi Pi solutions based on Renesas' RZ/G2L, RZ/G2UL, and RZ/T2H series processors. He introduced MYIR's SOMs, which leverage Renesas embedded processors to meet practical application needs. These products feature highly integrated and simplified hardware designs, offering a range of communication interfaces and extensive software support to aid developers in the development and deployment of embedded products. Currently, the RZ series SOMs have been successfully implemented in applications such as EtherCAT master controllers, industrial gateways, industrial Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), intelligent vehicle diagnostic equipment, and the charging unit TCU for new energy vehicle charging stations.
During the seminar, MYIR has displayed System on Modules (SOMs) and development kits based on the RZ/G2L, RZ/G2UL, and RZ/T2H. Additionally, MYIR demonstrated a charging pile application on the RZ/G2L development board, which incorporated the implementation of State Grid's charging piles program, realized the Modbus protocol for electricity meters, and provided a charging demonstration interface. This highlighted the RZ/G2L development board's powerful application capabilities in the field of electric vehicle charging.
In the future, with the deepening advancement of Industry 4.0, MYIR will collaborate more closely with Renesas to offer developers a broader range of products, jointly promoting the development of industrial automation and smart manufacturing technologies, and providing the industry with superior industrial product solutions.
