The MYD-SAMA5D34 development board is among MYD-SAMA5D3X series built around the Atmel SAMA5D34 processor which is an ARM Cortex-A5 MPU, operating at up to 536MHz (850DMIPS) at under 150mW, delivering a high-performance, low-power platform for cost-sensitive industrial and consumer applications.


The MYD-SAMA5D34 development board has a flexible design with the CPU module MYC-SAMA5D34 mounted on the MYD-SAMA5D3X common base board which is easy for customers to design their own base board or upgrade the CPU module.  The CPU module MYC-SAMA5D34 is a tiny ARM controller board which has the Atmel SAMA5D34 processor, 512MB DDR2 SDRAM, 256MB Nand Flash, 4MB Data Flash, 16MB Nor Flash and Gigabit Ethernet PHY on board and connects with the base board through one DDR2 SO-DIMM 200-pin connector. The base board has carried out a set of rich peripherals by headers and connectors including 2 x serial ports, 3 x USB ports, RS485, one Gigabit Ethernet, two CAN, MMC/SD, Micro SD, LCD, HDMI, Audio, etc.


The MYD-SAMA5D34 development board is a ready-to-run Linux and Android evaluation board. It is delivered with software package, detailed schematic documents in PDF format, datasheet, user manual as well as necessary cable accessories. MYIR also offers optional modules including the 4.3 inch and 7 inch LCD modules (with touch screen), USB camera module, USB WiFi module, GPS module and GPRS module which have greatly enhanced the functions of the development board, thus make the evaluation board a solid reference design to help users extensively evaluate, customize, develop hardware and software covering many applications like HMI, consumer appliance, industrial control, display system, security device, electric power control system, PDA device and web terminals.
